It is a 7.5 hp johnson seahorse and i need to know the oil to gas mixture. Also can anyone tell me how thick the pull cord is.

Your 1981 Motor takes 61" of 1/8" diameter OEM #772579 starter rope.

The gas/to oil mixture is 50:1 87 or 89 US Octane to TC-W3 Oil.

The gearcase uses high viscosity marine gearcase oil such as OMC/BRP Hi Vis.

The oil to gas ratio is 1:50. (or 128/50 = 2.56 ounces of oil per US Gallon)

BTW, that's an "I" in your model number, not a "1".
