Can Anyone Tell Me How To Go About Installing A Kill Switch For A 1976-77mercury 500 With Thunderbolt Ignition. I Would Feel Much Safer Having This. Where Can I Get A Kit ?
One wire goes to the black/yellow terminal on the switch box( early engines were orange and the other to ground. Kits are available at most auto parts or marine suppliers.
do i have to run kill switch wire all the way back to motor? can i pick up this black/ yellow wire from switch box closer to the center console ie from my key switch ? I have a seperate key from the throttle assembly (not built in one) thank you
