Anodes/Zincs for Volvo

I have a 2000 Volvo duo prop outdrive, I need zincs and I am confused about how many and what I need. Is there a good site that has a kit or list of needed zincs?

Which model drive do you have?

It is the DP-S model.

Are there more than 2 zincs on this drive? That is all I can find.

One more question, my oil drain plug on the side of the case is not behind the prop, its down low on the side.

Did they change these at some point or do I have 2 drain plugs?

If it's on the side, it's not a DP-S drive.

Got a picture, model number, or volvo serial number for the drive?

Yes, that changes the location of the plug.

Couldn't you just look at the drive and count the number of props on the drive.? Duo prop means TWO.

It IS a duo prop- 2 props. The tag says SX in the engine bay.

Ok, took some digging, but found the answer. Your drive was converted to a DP by someone, someplace along the line. The lower unit is from an early 96 NC model. First year for the DP-S drives and only the early models of 96 had the side plug. That is the only time they used the drain plug on the outside. After that (Late 96,97 and on), it was behind the prop.
Guess I never seen one of the originals, went to DP-S school in 97 and they didn't say anything about it.
