1993 Johnson 150 V6 60*

About to reassemble after boring. My machine shop pointed out that the tiny check valves associated with the crankcase drains need replacing, 6 of them.
He told me that they come out by hooking them and pulling.
I looked at BRP drawings but I dont see them listed. Can you help me please.

Were they refering to the ones on the outside of the block?

These are situated in the flange of the crankcase on which the reed assemblies fit followed by the carbs of course.

Went to my dealer and got his engine man to check. I think he had to look at a later model to find the drawing with the elbow check valve assy.
The number we came up with is 437784.
He told me to knock the old ones out with a punch. Might I run the risk of cracking the casting or do they come out easily.
Can you confirm all this please.

That's another 90* fitting, probably a different hose size. Since he's looking at your block I'd let him order them and if they aren't right he can send them back.
