Re: Blue Fin boats

They were another local company here in Northern Indiana and have been out of busness for quite sometime now.

They were really good boats though, never heard anything bad about them and you are looking at one that is 31 years old so it must be built pretty well.

If it floats you can fish it, 16' is plenty big to fish in, as to pulling a tube, it will but probably not real fast, 40 horse isn't alot of power.

I have a 16 Sea-nymph with a 50,2 casting decks-2 live wells ect, pretty heavy and it will go 30mph.

Check the motor over really well, that is where you will have problems, not much to go wrong with a boat.

Thanks for the replys guys. I'm going to look at the boat on Friday and hopefully buy it if it's in good shape. The price is right if the boat is good.

Re: Blue Fin boats

I've got an 18 ft 1984 Bluefin, 75 Hp Evinrude. Bought it new & it's still going strong. One of the strongest hulls going. Very wide boats for the length. Very stable.

Never had problems skiing behind it.
