I am trying to find year model of my mercury 70hp(3cyl) blue band outboard
Serial # 8056391. Need to order correct parts
Appreciate anyones help

Recheck your serial number. I can't find any number that matches your hp rating.

That is an australian built motor (beginning with 8), Laddies has the year guide I think.

Shamus, all you need to do when ordering the parts is to give the parts man the serial number, his data base will find the part, you do not need to tell him the year.
