Water out the exhaust port of 68 85 hp Evinrude

Hey! Can anybody out there tell me if water is suppose to come out of the exhaust port on a 1968, 85 Evinrude?

Well, the picture shows it with the thermostat open. There won't be that much when it is closed, but there should be some. Remember, the thermostat cycles open and closed as necessary to maintain proper operating temp.

Looks like there is suppose to be water coming out after all
