I have recently acquired a TN-28 5.5 hp Johnson. The primer pump leaks. Is there a gasket kit available for it? I do not have a manual for it.

There are two leather primer seals in there. Leakage is common and the seals are obsolete. Lucky for you there is a guy making reproduction ones. His name is Lloyd and you can find him hanging out over at the Antique Outboard Motor Clubs' website www.aomci.org "Ask-A-Member Q&A forum.

Thank you for your response. I have not taken it apart yet, I was wondering what I was getting into. Can these seals be made out of cork or some other gasket making material?
