actually doesnt seem to be a difference so im not sure...but i have the 330 gti and love it. also have the 320 gti.

Have a care.
There is a 320GTI 2 and there is the 321GTI which is a left handed level wind.
According to the Pennn official website there is no 330GTI 2.
You may be dealing with a typo of sorts.

well i have a 330 GTI...says it on the reel and the box....but i see in some web sites they sell the 330 gt 2....not gti2 just gt 2....but they do look the same...

If you visit the Penn official website they will only show the 330GTI. So I took it from the horses mouth.

Penn isn't very good at keeping up it's website. The 330GT2 has been out for 6 -8 months. It has a new frame and a new clicker system on it.

I do not know which is better.
I do know that the 330 GTI was made in the USA.Nowadays Penn is made in China. It may be that that the Chinese made some changes in order to streamline production.They do that all the time.
My feeling is that the difference is probably not very important at all.But then again,my favorite Penn is a 1969 Senator 113 which has yet to give me a problem.

I have 14 of the 330gt I use for trolling Stripers. Other than the lousy clicker that I complained bitterly to Penn about I really haven?t had any problems with these reels. I don?t have any of the GT series so I can?t really comment on them.

I do however have a pair of the 320LD with the GT2 updates. The G2 is a bit more refined than the predecessors. I can only assume the same goes for the 330 series as well.

Yankee Fleet moved to the harbor and the tackle shop is closed :-(. I keep my boat there and I really could use that store.
