Engine Bogs

I have a 1988 Sierra with a 3.7 Mercruiser. Engine starts up all the time when you first start it up it chugs a little but after you let it warm up its fine. now when you try to give it to her she bogs and sounds like its going to kill but then goes. What could the problem be?

Ever run a carbed engine before?
Sounds kind of normal. It's a carb. Give it some throttle till it warms up. IF it's loaded up from the choke being on, it will bog a bit at first till it gets cleared out. It's NOT an EFI engine.
