You can get cutting files from a lot of the online boat architects now. The ones I've looked at specifically are Bruce Roberts designs (
www.bruceroberts.com).
I think a lot of the other boat designers will also supply them if asked, provided they have them.
If you're looking for free cutting files, you could ask around on boatdesign.net's forums, might be some amateur architects there willing to give some out.
