I have put a new engine in and got it all lined up and what not but... My distributor is different. Both engines had a thunderbolt ignition. One the old distributor there was a 2 terminal nut and bolt connector for grn/wht and red/wht. One this system The shift intterupt switch was a green/wht wire and bolt the 2 green whts to one terminal. But on the new one there is no bolts just the wires coming from the dist to the TB IV box. Where do I attach the shift interupt wire to so that I can get it to work under load? Should I just use a quick splice thing and attach all the green/wht wires together?

Assuming you now have this box

Might want to consider getting OEM service manual #3, you are really going to need it before it's over.

that pic is off the old box I have. I have the new TB IV but I have that shift interupt switch. So my distributor doesn't have the terminals just the 2 wires. coming out... should I splice the grn/wht together

Re: shift interrupt switch.

to clairify I have the that is a triangle TB IV the wires go dierectly to the distributor and there is no nut terminals to attach it runs directly in to the dist. However my shift housing is the one in that pic. And the grn/wht wire on my switch has a round terminal ... my feeling or guess would be to splice to the grn /wht wires ( from the switch/ one from the TBIV together so the swtich could "interupt") is this right
