this is what champion says

Champion Marine plug 5933 5933 .030 "Q-Series" inductor types (used in Copper Plus & Premium Stainless) are the only OMC approved replacement plugs for engines specified. Use of other types may cause engine misfire. For Commercial service use 876/QL16V.

Champion Racing series 306 L86C .030 "Q-Series" inductor types (used in Copper Plus & Premium Stainless) are the only OMC approved replacement plugs for engines specified. Use of other types may cause engine misfire. For Commercial service use 876/QL16V.

Ok, got another question. I have the original gas tank that came with this boat(plastic). The cap does not look like it is vented(it has a hole underneath but it does not come out the top nor does it have a screw). Could this cause a problem?
