Carb cleaning and fuel tube came out of carbs

On my merc 50 hp 4 stroke I was pulling the fuel hose off and the tubes that they attach to came out of the body of the carb, what can I do to make sure they seal when I put them back together, may be why it was having problems revving.

I'm bumping this because I find it to hard to believe with the emmense amount of knowledge on this board, no one has an answer.

Had this problem with a vintage VW carb....tried the whole JB weld thing and ended up replacing the carb....A friend suggested scoring the fuel hardline when you put it back together...
