I have a 1967 15' Atlantic Tri-Hull boat and I am looking to replace the trailer. I cannot locate anywhere how much the boat weighs (Excluding the engine)? Can anyone help?

look in the phone book for Public Scale moving companies. they all have scales they weight their trucks, before going on the road. usually for $10.00 you can have the rig weighted. remember when buying a trailer, you are going to load a bunch more junk into the boat. also buying one with a long tongue makes launching, and towing better. an adjustable (movable) axle is important, to balance the tongue weight.

In addition to that, you are often able to have a weighing station that are along the hwys for big rigs weigh your boat. They do that up here in Washington State for free. Also, buy a trailer with a swing toung. You will thank me later.

The guy at the dump lets us use the scale there.
