Re: capacity plate

Only the manufacturer can replace the plate. You will need to contact them and provide the hull id number.

If you have the info from the original plate, there are several sign companies on the internet that will print a new plate for you.

Re: capacity plate

I have the same problem with my sea ray and the e-mail i got back from sea ray said something like that too. She said to go to a sign shop and have one made. That was a e-mail from sea ray. I was supprised that they told me that. Now where do you go to have one made?? What is a online place you can go too?? Thanks

Re: capacity plate

Try www.custommarinelabels.com. They made a replacement for my missing label and it is very origional looking. The hard part was finding out the factory capacities to put on the label.

I am assuming only the factory can give me the capacities to have on the plate. Is that correct?

It just seems like somewhere on this world wide internet that kind of information would be available :)

Re: capacity plate

I had to get a dealer with the same boat to give me the information. The factory never did get back to me with it.

Don't know if you are in Canada but if so just contact Services Canada and send them your boat info. They will issue a capacity label.
