1986 Johnson 150

I recently purchased 1986 Procraft 1750 bassboat with Johnson 150. Starts good, idles good, but when I reach WOT, it starts cutting out or missing. Sometimes occasionally, sometimes continually. Any advice on troubleshooting?

Check your fuel lines and primer bulb. All should be soft and pliable. Also make sure the tank vent isn't clogged.

Carb overhaul might also be your problem, orfice could be clogged or incorrect float level.

Thanks very much. Put new fuel lines and fuel filter on this morning. Also unstopped clogged up gas tank vent, went out on the lake and never cut out at all. 65mph
