Fuel Mix 1998 5 hp Evinrude (European Model)

Borrowed 5hp 1998 Evinrude outboard, owner on holiday and can't remember the fuel mix. Starting fine but smoking (white) slightly. Smoke gets worse when accelerated. Hoping to take the kids up the river Boyne 10 hours from now. Will I have to row!?

50 parts gas 1 part oil.

Thanks for the speedy reply! I guess the mix he was using was oil rich causing the smoke!
