Evening All , Will a early evirude 199ish transom mount fit a 1975 135 evinrude ?.,I have mount here with ptt and a firend would like to know if it will fit his 135. thks ......

i don't think so, the 90's had the trim and tilt cylinders, in the 70' they just had the 2 cylinders mounted on the side on the transom mount.

The integral trim was first introduced on the V6s for 1976 in 77 it was offered on the 140 long shaft and all extra long V4s, the other v4s used the bolted on system with outside trim cylinders. In 78 the integral trim was offered on all V4s.

Will the newer style of transom braket fit on the older engine? No the midsections of the engines have different types of engine mounts
