Fight the dying of the light!

Take tomorrow off (forecast calls for nice day here in the North East) and fish and cruise all day! That's my plan! Lot's of striped bass and Blues running around Boston right now. I'm sure there is Tuna out there too. I am going to go looking for them :D

My Formula is running great. I had 2 unsolicted offers to buy her the other day as I was waiting to dock and pull her out. People were pulling along side to take a look and ask questions. It just doesn't get any better than that.

Re: END OF SUMMER

Bye-Bye summer, Hello fall. Shorter days, leaves turning colors and falling already, yes, fall is here and the long hot days of summer are over. We are all one season closer to our demise. Soon we will all be dead.

Hey, it is the lack of sunlight and the aliens!

On the brighter side, cooler weather, hunting season is here, we are alive and free. Guess it all depends on how you look at it and what you want to make of it.

Kenny - take tomorrow off. Call in sick. It may be one of your last chances for a great day on the water...

Yeah Ralph,

I would love too, except that the boat is going to be hauled tommorrow and that will be the end of that!

Plus, I think if I called in sick, my boss would put in a firing line, we are just so busy!

Kenny

Re: END OF SUMMER

This is a great time of year for boating and
fishing around here.Fishing is excellent and the
wind is calmer here in the fall. I just have to
put the long underwear on again, and get off the
water a little earlier in the evening.Snow adds
a different dimension to boating and fishing. It
helps to make it a little bit more of a challenge

Re: END OF SUMMER

Yea, snow adds to the challenge of water skiing also! I remember the year we went WATER skiing on January 1 - no, we had not been drinking. It was about 30 degrees and the snow was flying, and we were in wet suits and skiing - some of us took off from shore and landed on shore, but we did have 2 that learned to water ski that day. So, bring on the cold and snow -- almost anything you can do in the summer you can do in the winter, if you have the mind set to do it!

Re: END OF SUMMER

You all can have some of our heat. 102 yesterday and 101 today. Pleasant nights in the mid-70's. I'll be ready for the cool days though until they come and then it's back to wanting the warm again. An annual cycle. :D

Re: END OF SUMMER

its just getting perfect around here. mid to low 60's at night, low 80's in the afternoons, sycamore trees turning color, dove & bow season... many people are complaining of colds, but they just don't realize its allergies.

it smells like autumn - leaves are starting to fall. my fav time of year :D i hear the topwater striper bite is picking up.

Re: END OF SUMMER

It's still hotter than hell here...

And just in time for hunting season on the 4th.
100 degree weather. I'm not even going out unless it rains or cools off.

I'm really getting sick of this hot weather.

Alaska is sounding better every day. I can sell my home here in Oregon, and be bill free.

Anyone live in Alaska? Get me a job, and I'm outta here!

H.
