Looks like late 1980s. I had a 1988 Johnson 2.5hp with the same basic shape and throttle arrangement. It came in other flavors, too. Check the BRP website's parts listings and you might be able to narrow it down by looking at cowling parts diagrams, etc.

Also looks like a 1987-1988 4 HP (J4RCUD , J4RCCS).

Maybe different down under.

i also need to know where this thing i supposed to pump water out? can see a couple of holes but i think it comes out underwater???

most of the smaller ones, the water exits with the exhaust,.
