1985 OMC is NOT a Buick, it's a 3.8L, 229 cubic inch Chevrolet V6.
The last Buick OMC put in a package was 1974.

Not trying to hijack this thread, but I thought of a question here. If you had a cracked block, would you have signs of water and/or oil in the bilge area?

sometimes they crack to the inside and not externally. Also, many boats have a fair bit of oil and water in the bilge to begin with.
