13,5 ft long, hp rating 30hp - 70hp, but our modified 50hp motors pushes about 75 hp, speed, ranging from 50 - 80 mph on the normal zapcat .... driver's life expectancy ---- mmmm can't really give you a answer hahahaha, just up your life insurance, and make sure you wear goggles a helmet a life jacket and a kidneybelt ...... lol

I don't know if he did it on purpose, but if you scroll down at the right speed deejaycee's one set of photos becomes a moving video.

hey deejayceeeeee...

how can those motors be dunked like that and still keep going?

is there a secret?

and one more thing... does the helmet make it hard to swim/breath when you go overboard?

Re: bad luck with boats... w/pics

Hahahaha, not a secret, the motor is sealed all round with duck tape, only the top vent hole is open, so when the boat goes over it creates a bubble inside the motor and give you about 5 - 7 minutes to turn it over before the water fills the motor, so if you can get it back on its feet in that time, your off again ..... the helmet is very irritating at times, that is why we use the cheap bmx bicycle helmets that is light not as heavy as the motor cycle ones, also no cushioning inside either, it gets to heavy when it gets wet, they are filled with styrofoam, so it actually makes your head float, than sink :) that sounds really funny ... anyway to swim with it can be tricky as you can really see or hear much to find your direction after rolling the boat a few times ......

Here is a link where you can download video on it ... http://aquariusinflatables.com.au/content/view/15/27/ ...... if you scroll down to about the middle of the page, there is 3, "2005 thundercat racing world cup" Trans Agulhas etc., but don't click them to open in a new window, right click on the video link and say save linked file to disc, it is very big but worth it ........

I have seen the races in rapids but it's not the same as what I am doing, would love to try it, but no here does it really ...

Re: bad luck with boats... w/pics

that one under the water is priceless... you know thats atleast a 6,000$ boat... i wonder how it sank?

awesome...

i wish i had the pic of what happened the other day ... while im putting the boat in, i see this other boat towing another boat side by side, except the boat in tow is nearly underwater... it must have been a 100,000$ boat, i remember seeing two merc 5.0 i/o in the back... a nice boat... you could see the water stain all over the boat, except for the bow, where it was sticking up out of the water... they slammed it up on a huge trailer, then towed it out, it was completly full of water... and right before i looked away, i saw it... water coming out from the transom plug!!!!

awesome... doesnt matter how much you pay for a boat.. if you dont use the 50cent plug, you wont float for long...lol...lol...

keep em coming... i love to see these funny pics...
