1987 Bayliner Capri 1700 CR Tech Specs

I've been searching all over the internet trying to find some technical specifications for a 1987 Bayliner Capri 1700 CR, but have had no luck. Can someone help me with this? One of the main items I'm trying to find out is what size fuel tank came with this boat.

there might be a tag located on the tank that state it's size. might me by the sender. or on my old boat the size was stated on the tank itself with a decal...that was a 72 boat. i would think ya got a tag...my 75 has a tag...i'm thinkin marine fuel tanks should have a tag stateing uscg approved.....and cap. would be listed too....that's my guess.....

I used to have a 1987 Bayliner Capri Cuddy and somewhere I have the original sales brochure. I will look for it.

In the mean time, go on boattrader.com ans ask a few of the people selling the same boat how big their tanks are. You will know your answer when a few of say the same value.

this is a pic off the uscg web site of a fuel tank label location. it will have capacity listed on the label....if the mfg. complied with uscg manufactureing rules....

I have the same boat and the sign next to the gas pump says 6 gallons and a 50:1 ratio. However, when I pumped gas recently, the gas guage was just under 1/2 but it took about 4 1/2 gallons to fill. Its confusing so i am also doing some research.
