What pitch are you looking for? I know where some stainless SX props are.

Re: No Lexor found

I'm thinking i'll need a 19p. I've seen several s.s. props for an sx. But the Lexor was recomended for med./heavy stern drives such as mine. What do have to take its place?

What pitch prop are you running now? Are you in the rpm range you want to be?

Re: No Lexor found

Sorry, none of these appear to be Lexor like in their physical characteristics, do they share the same lift characteristics for heavy rigs as the Lexor. I'm wondering if the 15 1/4" dia. Apollo on Iboat is similar to the Lexor in performance.

Everything I've read about the Lexor is that it's for faster offshore and ski boats with "good power to weight ratios". If your boat is heavy are you sure this is what you want?

Re: No Lexor found

The Lexor is the best high-end, all-around performance prop for larger boats, outperforming other similar props such as the Mercury Mirage. Constructed of stainless steel, with a large area blade design, and drag-minimizing blades and edges, the Lexor delivers unmatched power and performance. For your large boat prop needs, choose Lexor - the proven performance leader!
This is from the product info...
In searching within the company, I was told this would be one of the best heavy load props you could buy when looking at 3-blade SS.
On the 3 sterndrives and 1 outboard loaded to the hilt, I tried this on, to be honest, I was impressed. Maybe it isn't for what you need, but it sure looked to me to be a good option...
If DH says no, try something else...

Re: No Lexor found

I was just going by what I read, I haven't tried one. Kenny, if you've tried them, that's good enough for me. Just as long as he gets what makes him happy in the end.

Re: No Lexor found

On the Lexors I ran, they proved to be a real good load prop, and as I said before, I was impressed with the speed as well.
Obviously it's a Mirage replacement, but I hate to tell someone they "need" to spend that kind of money...
There are several props out there, even since I done my test work last fall, that are new and I haven't run most of the newest of props.
If Dhadley knows about some 19 spliners, I'd listen to hear what he's got...I'd trust his suggestion over my own.
Sometimes (if I may ramble for a moment) I get hung up on that last MPH or gaining 50 more RPM...in most cases, that isn't going to fix anyones problem. Dhadley is the single person that got me hooked on gaining here, gaining there, and, the reason I got hooked on testing every prop made before I die if you know what I mean.
As to not lie to you, I don't know what prop I would look for, but it would likely have good blade area and moderate cup....many out there like that.
See what DH has and go from there. :)

Re: No Lexor found

Having never checked wot with my previous prop. i'm not real sure of the best pitch to go with. Not real concerned with hole shot and more with econ.My boat, a four winns 200 horizon bow rider w/ a 5.7 volvo set up,probably weighs in around 3500-3600# more often than not when loaded. So yes I'm thinking 19 min. and max 21 pitch. I was wondering, which ever pitch I end choosing and miss my wot range, can a prop's pitch be tweaked by a qualified prop shop to achieve the desired results. Thanks for help
