hi fellers, i'm not on this board much cause mechanics is my down fall.. if'n there's a chance it can be screwed up,, i'll find it.. plus i never have any problems with these nissans..<br /><br />but i do now..!!<br /><br />i'm 99.9% it's a carb gum problem..<br /><br />starts great .. run wot great for 5 minutes than it bogs waaay down an stays there ..( but sometimes sputters an takes off fast/wot again but this is rare )..<br /><br />shut'er down .. fire it back up.. wot bat-outta-hell.. for less then a minute than blogs right down again..<br /><br /> an the cycle continues.. <br /><br />when she's a-boggin',, every thottle setting's a-boggin',too...<br /><br />the fuel filter's whistle clean.. also an after market 'oil filter type' filter/water separater..<br /><br />found a clymer nissan manual an will order it tommorrow.. they are usually half worthless cause they only hold-your-hand half way..<br /><br />what i gettin' at is ,, whats all involved..?? takin' the carbs apart..?? <br /><br />springs an floats an 'jesus clips' go a-flyin'..?? <br /><br />screws/settings/linkages/my lord..<br /><br />an there's THREE of 'um...<br /><br />or do you guys just spray some 'gumout'/tuner somewhere..??..<br /><br />(rockfish/striper opens tommorrow) need to get'er fixed..!!
