does anyone know where i can get a powrhead lifting ring for a 70 hp force? or what are the size of the threads on the end of the crank shaft so i could make one if i have to?<br />thanks
Original part number was FT-8933<br /><br />Sorry, can't help you with the size.<br /><br />I would try a Merc dealer.<br />They may have some laying around that they don't use anymore. Or may have some in the parts department.
I've got that part number lifting ring. I used it to lift my Force 150 from my boat when I replaced the steering cable (long story, don't ask). Make an offer and pay for shipping and it's yours. If you have the means a large nut with a piece of rebar welded to it will do the trick instead of this fancy lifting ring.
