Is this a good deal? 44 hours, 3.0L engine. Please tell me what you think? (shopping for my first boat). Thank you!

If its clean, has been stored indoors and covered, has maintenance records, and looks as new as it should at 44 hours and it comes with a trailer then it is a very good deal in my opinion.

Assuming all is in order, that's a fair deal in my book. By the way boat prices for the very same boat vary greatly depending on your state. Down south they are cheaper and up north they are more and vary on each coast. If I am buying a 3.0, about the only boat i'd consider one in is a Stingray. They are very light weight with relatively shallow hulls. Bad for choppy water but good for efficiency. Not my ideal first boat but should do just fine.

What do you plan to do behind the boat?

Its my basic boat but with a 4 banger versus the 4.3 V6. That hull performs very well with the V6, and most with the 18 foot (180/185) are happy with the 3.0, but I have read about few with the 19 foot hull and the 3.0.

I think the 3.0 is the reason its priced that low. Its not the most desirable engine in that hull.

That being said, it just might fit your needs perfectly, depending on hwat you plan to do with the boat.
