I'm settin up the boat for bigger wilder water as I'm campin with the kiddies on a daddy daughter thing I do with my best bud every year at Beausoleil Island on Georgian Bay next week. Need aux power for full happiness and light.

This is the mockup for the transom angle/height thing

Dig the counterweight eh?

how do you lift the motor, most motor brackets are spring assisted.
That looks like a 15hp evinrude. Ihave a 15 kicker on my 21 cheiftain. Pushes the boat 5 mph with a 4 blade solar prop 9 pitch. Engine turns 4500 rpms. The 4 blade 7 pitch would get it up in the 5,000 rpm range, but I also use my kicker on a 14' boat with the 9pitch is perfect.

My cottage buddy says this engine is identical to the 15 as that is what he had to settle on. 10hp and over needs registration in Ontario and you need to be older than 12? to drive it- better check that
