Pretty boat, Fly!!! I like that blue/black color.

Similar lines to my old IMP X190. I suppose everyone copies Chris Craft. ;-)

Augoose... That's a nice boat... I'd say you got a pretty good deal on that.

Pretty Chris Craft Augoose, and a good price too. How fast will she run?

Thanks Pmccrany- I was very fortunate to be in the right place at the right time and be willing to do a little work myself!

Thanks BSnB- she runs very well now (rebuilt the carb). Top end with a 19p prop is about 50, but I may drop down a bit in pitch to get a better hole shot. I have a greater need to pull skiers and boarders well than I do to do 50 mph!

My parents finally sold me our "family boat" we've had for roughly 20 years - 1990 Chris Craft Bowrider Concept. I'll post pics later. So far (in 1 week) I've installed a wakeboard tower, installed an entirely new audio setup, and am now in the process of determining whether to reupholster/carpet it and redo the vinyl extrior graphics to make it a bit more modern. The single stripe wont cut it now with the tower on - looks too dated! Anyonw know a good online site to buy chris craft emblems?

Beautiful Boat... 64 - wow- that's scary fast... (but that's what those scorpions were built for). I'm really glad this thread is seeing some activity and that people are jumping on with pics of their boats.. I've yet to a see a Chris Craft boat that I do not like.... Of course, the downside of this thread is you guys are making me jealous...

Awesome... yes, pics please... we love 'em... You can get Chris craft emblems on ebay... tons of 'em on there actually... Also, I think emblems are available on that site that Sasto posted above ^^^^^.

Re: Chris Craft Owners: Register Your Boat or Restore Thread Here.

getting back to the forums here. Had our initial shakedown cruise (i emphasize shakedown) on lake erie last weekend in our 1988 amerosport 284. We took a run out to put-in-bay from east harbor and motored mightily through 1-2 foot swells. Stayed the day and when we came out of the bay and entered the lake the day had changed considerably. Swells 5-6 feet. After reaching port we found that there were a lot of areas that were in need of tightening, refitting, etc. This week we are getting the boat rewired due to years of rigging by previous owners and a new canvas convertible top. We're having a blast reviving this beauty. Talked to an old sea dog on shore who was working on an older cc and i asked him what he thought of them. He "i love em. These were made back when they built boats". I think i know what he means.View attachment 149731View attachment 149732

Continental 380

I have a 1994 Chris-Craft Continental 380 with Volvo Penta gas engines. I am looking for an owner's manual, original gauges and the swim platform doors. I'd be grateful for any leads on where to get parts.

Re: Continental 380

Makeitstop, I would start with the link Sasto posted above^^^^ I thinking original, OEM equipment for a 94 might be tough to score. If you can't find a Chris Craft specialist, then maybe nose around on ebay or CList and see if you can get lucky. You could order a set of Faria ones that look really nice...

In terms of the owner's manual - If you are talking about one for your engine, they are usually available for download online. Also, you can skip over to the VP forum on this site and someone will prolly serve it up to you real quickly.

Thanks,
Patrick

Re: Chris Craft Owners: Register Your Boat or Restore Thread Here.

now u see my confusion also,I ran the HIN and found the same as u about olympic boats,I've started another thread about it, As for the HIN I found it on the port side stern and will double check the last # and look around for more #'s on the boat. I'll be uploading more pictures next wk. Thanks for the interest and sorry oops didn't mean to high jack the thread, later Rob

Try the mariners museum with the hin they will tell you everything you could hope for ( for a small fee

Nice boat man, Mine's the Light Tan and Blue.
I'm curios did you have it when it had the 5.0 in it, and how fast would she run then?

I sold a Cruiser Yacht and bought this little sweetheart the same day, I think I was boat less for three hours.

Anyway it is a 1991 238 Concept Cuddy and we love her. She has 190hrs on her original and she sails just fine. Except for my rust trailer loading caused me to bust the prop.
