Hey all, I'm looking at a 1993 24t Celebrity Status (cuddy) and need some input. Looks clean from the outside and owner says it's clean inside too. Has the 454 magnum, stainless prop, cover, and trailer. Owner says it's in good mechanical condition. NADA says $8155 for Low retail and $9275. Based on what I know now, I'd say it's definatly in Avg or better condition. Private seller say's he'd take $8000.
Two questions:
1) Based on what I see it sounds like a great deal. What do you think?
2) Compared to other similar boats of different brands it seems like the Celbrity's have a considerably lower resale value. Is this true and if so, why? Is it because they're out of business?
