Thanks y'all. Worked part of the day. My lovely Admiral treated me to a nice steak dinner out ( She's fixing me my favorite homemade lasagna Thursday.) Now for a frosty adult beverage and some quiet time at home. It's been a pretty good day.
Yes the new Stratos was a birthday/anniversary gift to the Admiral and me. I'm having some work done to my old CJ7 as a gift to myself.
My dad came by and was talking to me this morning and the conversation went something like this.
Dad " You're what now 39?"
Me " No dad I'm 46 today. I wish I was still 39."
Dad " Wow you really are getting old. That would make me ancient!"
Me "Well you act like your 39 most of the time."
Dad " That's how it's supposed to be. All those years your mom and I told you to act your age. That was supposed to stop once you hit about 35."
Me " I'll try to remember that."
He's 73 and can still out work me any day of the week.
