I just bought a 17 foot bowrider with a 90HP outboard. The boat has a hole for a ski pylon, and then under the hole through the outside of the boat is a pretty large aluminum rectangle which is screwed to the boat just above the bilge area and bolted to that is a female receptacle. The boat is a Grew brand (now out of business). The hole in the boat, and the female receptacle, seem to be sized to accept a 1.25" diameter pylon. I can't find where I would get a 1.25" pylon. Also there have never been any feet mounted for a tripod so I assume it was just a stand alone pole without any arms. Where can I find something like this? Oh and from my measurements it would need to be around 5 feet long to get from the base to above the outboard
