  • Day Sailer 1?

    hi
DTT has a Day Sailer 1 for only $300 on a trailer. It all looks pretty rough, no sails but looks like there is a mast. What do you think? Pass for something cleaner with sails, etc? Or go for the project aspect? But now, aren't we back to basically building a boat from nearly scratch? Hmm...

Sailboats aren't hard to come by. Unless you want the project for project sake, I'd move on.

    Welcome aboard.

the price of sails will make you poop. Move on . . . get a complete boat . . . one that has all the pieces.

I would check this site for some used sails to fit the boat. I picked up a decent spinnaker for a 27' boat for just $100.
