I have cleared many wood chunks out of my jei ski in the past --swimming under water and pushing them out with a long screwdriver.
Now i have added a Sea Ray 16 foot jet boat to the collection and the water is very cold now - - often we are fishing 15 miles from the boat ramp ,and limping back at 2 miles an hour wood chunk jammed in , isint practical on this huge lake .

Is there some magic tool to clear a wood chip from an impeller with out going under water and getting hypothermia ?

Also have a swim platform on the back which makes it a longer reach than normal.

Beautiful Lake Powell has a lot of floating - cork like pieces of wood chunks- it is a constant threat here .

Any ideas guys ??

Get or have made a ....intake grate....Bigger jet boats never leave home without 1. Your pump company can tell you all about buying or building 1.

You Will toss a part of a blade soon. BANG BANG CLUNK.
