I am looking at purchasing a pair of 2004 Sea Doo GXT Limited PWC's. The specs are 185 HP, Supercharged, 38 & 40 Hours. What do you think of this particular craft? Any history of major engine problems or other problems? Any help to get to a decision would be appreciated.
Seadoo is notorious for breakdowns and unreliability. I can't tell you how many times I've come to the aid of some poor sap on a broken down GTX, XP, GTI... I own 3 mid 90's Yamahas, never EVER had a mechanical breakdown, only weeds sucked up into the pump and one dead battery cuz it was 7 years old. Yamaha is by far the most reliable watercraft on the water and I'm sure alot of people will back me up on that.
