beaching pwc

i recently purchased a seadoo and want to beach it (yes its legal here:)) but no one knows where i can get something to protect the hull from sand and shells. any suggestions?

The keel guards scrub a lot of power and speed from your pwc, as well as affect the handeling. There are beeching mats that fold up very small that you drive the ski onto available at Overtons, Barts, ect. IMHO a much better option.

You could also buy an anchor and anchor it beyond the break tide (in SC the break usually isn't over your head) and not have to worry about the sand and shells mucking up the jet or impeller, a kid juming on it and starting it while it is on the beach (that happened to me once), trying to get the ski over the break without a stray wave hitting you, a swimmer getting in the way, or a kamazie surfer trying to out run you (going out) (seen it happen).<br /><br />Just a thought.
