Need new prop for maxum 2100 1998

Hi everyone have just joined iboats and require some info on the best prop for my boat.

I have a muxum 2100 sc (21.5 feet long) year 1998 with a 190hp mercruiser 4.3 and alpha 1 gen 2

The damaged prop is alluminium approx 14 inch in diameter with serial number 8 83283-21 (am pesuming pitch is 21 Degrees)

The recomended WOT is 4800rpm

The boat will be used for towing toys, skiers and generally leisure

As im buying new i would like a stainless steel prop for all round performance and fuel consumption

Henry,

before your prop was damaged what was speed (gps) and where were your rpms at?

It may be cost effective to get your prop repaired and get some base numbers to go on for a new prop.
then keep the prop for a spare or sell it.
If your boat was well set up with the al prop I would hate to live on the mileage difference with a ss prop.

Hi thanks for reply

Have only used the boat once and didn't get max speed recorded
The wot was 5200

As you say might be an idea to get prop mended and then have more info to go on
