Hey Guys,

I have a 21 foot 1990 Bayliner Capri Cuddy with a 1990 Force 120 Outboard.

The boat had a very damaged 12 x 19 Pitch Prop giving us 4000 RPM WOT. I am new to the whole propeller buying and we were looking for it to perform a bit better. It is used mostly cruising around the lake, occasional tubing. So I was recommended to go with a 17p.

My issue is the exhaust, I am not sure if it is through the hub, through the spout above, or both (dual-exhaust). Can anyone help me at all please?

If it's a through hub exhaust, prop will have a large middle hole. If not, will be a non through huh exhaust prop OB. Need to know the min-max wot rpm range of the OB factory stated in order to play correctly with prop maximizations.

Going for a 17 pitch prop will be your starter prop, from there can fine tune other +,. pitch prop for OB to run middle to max wot rpm range as usually loaded, you decide.

Happy Boating

hi
it Would be great to find a dealer who lets you try before you buy. Using a badly damaged prop as a starting point is never really ideal.
Just a thought.
