Part number question - 1966 Kiekhaefer Merc 200 20HP 2 blade prop

After resurrecting our old family motor and screaming along like she did back in the early '70s her prop spun. So hunting a replacement. My spun prop has this part # (48-334801 1,1 PROPELLER ASSEMBLY(2 BLADE - ALUMINUM - 11"PITCH). All props I've seen always start with 48- I've found the exact same part number for a prop that appears identical but it starts with 38- (38-33480-1) I'm pretty sure that the 2 digit number is the parts group. I can't find any reference to any 38- parts of any kind. In the Ebay picture it is clearly a 38 not a 48. Will this prop work for me? thanks for any help.

Why not contact a prop shop and have the hub replaced? No worries if the prop will fit. They can fix any nicks at the same time.

Thanks guys... but I had been led to believe prop shops aren't able to fix these due to the rubber hub insert no longer being available. If you're aware of a shop I should contact please let me know.

Try these guys in Georgia. They make and made OEM props for Mercury and repair any prop. I've bought from them and nice people. No affiliation, just had good service. They are the only makers of new props for my old Merc.
