Hello, My fishing buddy has a 2006 G3 172 with a F115 Yamaha outboard and was never happy with it's performance from NEW. It came New with a SS 3 blade 18P prop from dealer. It got out of the hole well with load but disappointing performance across the lake. I had four Props for my Force by Mercury outboard to would cross over so we went from a 19p to 20p to 21p then last 22p props. The 22P was too much for getting out of the hole and Top End was ok but not able to make optimum RPM at WOT. Purchased in a SS Yamaha 20 pitch 4-Blade prop to get the wide boat out of the water and make recommended RPM. WOW ! You G3 Boat owners this was the answer the Boat is a treat to run Great hole shot and excellent Top End speed. Check your rigs setup...this made all the difference in the world.
