  • Mounting LED Deck Light On Bimini Frame

I have a 2007 sun tracker 18ft party barge and I just picked up a nice LED deck light. I want to mount the light so the bimini cover does not interfere with the light mount. I can mount the LED deck light just below the opening for the back nav light, but it will shine on the motor, so...

Long story short, I need some sort of clean mount that will give me the ability to move my deck light around. Almost the same features of snake light from B&D

    Thanks

Are you looking for something that may just hook on and off part of the Deck Railing?? Where you can move it around the boat where needed???

I'm not sure exactly what your light looks like, but I have had lights with the springy clips for hanging a broom on the wall screwed on the back of them so you can move them around the boat and clip them on the rail, or bimini frame, where you wanted them.

This is the light I have

I want to light up the deck for fishing at night.

Since we do not fish that much at night, I might just run some wire thru the Bimini fame (same as the top nav light) with quick connects and add some for of hooks to hang it over the stored Bimini

Use Velcro or cable ties. Cable ties are cheap, fast and disposable.

I have some Velcro Ties, just hope they are long enough.

Why not use the self adjusting clamp on feature that it has and just clamp them to the deck rails???

I've heard terrible things about the Taco lights. I run Coastal Night Lights on my boats and it's like daytime while night fishing.

Which type of coastal lights did you buy, how many and where did you mount them? I want to set some up on my toon for night fishing.
