I just replaced some, but they were on a deck boat. I would try to avoid the .020" if you can. I used plastic for mine, for the extra durability. The down side is you have to allow for expansion and contraction on longer panels. Without that ability, a warm day can leave the fence badly buckled. Looks terrible.
I watched that video. It doesn't look that hard. My panels are on the outside rather than on the inside but I'd have to do it on the dock since I don't have a trailer. If I can find someone on the lake to do it that can pull it out of the water that would be ideal.
