Our family is looking at a cabin in the Keys for next summer. Admitedly, we typically go to Tahoe for snow skiiing. I've never known LT to be a good water ski/ water sport lake. I've seen the wind swells and will be advised to stay close to shore and go out in the mornings. But what I really would like to know is, do folks really ski on it with any frequency during the summer? And, how cold is it? Spring suit required?

In August the temp might get to the high 60's near the shore. There are some brave skiers and tubers.
