I just picked up a 1972 Mirrocraft. The owner said it was a Wisc. State Police boat. He turned it into a fishing boat. I would like to try and get it back to what it originally looked like. The hull I.D. # is 24167158. Can anybody tell me what the color may have started out? Model? Interior lay out? I'd like to try and put the interior back to some what original. Thanks

I had one without the deck. It had 3 cross seats, interior was a light beige, hull was a light green. I had a little 35 Merc 4 cyl on it and added a side console. Made a real nice, safe boat.

Mirrocraft is still in business. They may be able to email you an old brochure.

without knowing how yours was painted originally, unlike cars, the color of the boat is not on a tag.

the old Mirrocraft that my parents had was yellow and white.

you have what looks like a ski-n-troll. rated at 45 hp.

Thanks for the input. After posting it in "general boating" forum I saw there was a "restoration" forum. Should I place this there as well?

If you're going to start doing a restoration on it, heck yeah! There's some incredible expertise in those forums. If you're just wondering about colors, you've probably got most of what we can offer ya'.

I emailed Mirrocraft about a brochure. They replied to me within 15 minutes and sent me their 1972 brochure in a PDF. No ski-n-troll pics but very helpful. I did take off the pedestals in the back and will enjoy the summer the way it is. This has already been dubbed my winter project so I'll be visiting the restoration forums. Thanks to all.
