Only suggestion I have would be EZ Steer. That is what I use on my kicker and it works very well when steering from the wheel. Also if backing into a beach where would like to steer from the tiller you can take it off is 30 seconds. I always take it off when heading home. Mine has worked for 30 years now with no problems.
I wish the price was what it was when I got mine as getting higher every year. I know of a few who have made their own EZ Steer like systems.
