mastercraft fuel gauge not working

fuel gauge stopped working after someone(s) siphoned my tank dry. checked voltage at tank sending unit, have voltage when switch is turned on. Checked rear of gauge for voltage, have voltage when switch is on. Have a full tank now but gauge is dead on empty. Suggestions?

dhester,<br /><br />I'll bet your sender is stuck down.<br /><br />You should have easy access to the sender via a floor access port or the bilge.<br /><br />Remove the sender and check the action of the float arm.

thanks djohns, this weekend I hope to move tank out and remove sending unit to look in tank
