it really is amazing that a concrete floor grounds a plastic battery better than a steel chassis on a car, truck, or bulldozer (shoots down the rubber tire excuse)........ Concrete does not discharge batteries..... after all the "ground" that effects the battery is on the top, not the bottomthe reason batteries go dead on the concrete floor is because your grounding them when they touch concrete. If you place a battery on the floor place it on a piece of wood,plastic or some form of padding that keeps the battery from going dead.
