1980 -1990 sea ray sundancer 270

Hey I am in the market to buy a sea ray sundancer 270 but I have herd many bad things about sea rays in general. I have a few questions...

are the hulls of 1980 - 1990 sea ray Sundancer 270 solid.

What are some common problems with this boat

And are the hulls pure fiberglass or are they cored with wood

Searays are generally considered a higher end boat.

A quick google search on the older Sundancers reveals they were pretty stout.

With any old boat, condition is key.

My guess is is it would have wood stringers and transom.

As noted , fiberglass encapsulated wood stringers and transom. In my book at best a mid tier mass produced boat , they do market them very well and that is why some think they are better than they really are.
