CFCI outlet change out

I need to change over the regular outlets in the head and galley to be USCG compliant has anyone ever done this? How hard is it? I have basic electrical skills.
Any help would be appreciated.

Its not a big deal ,shut breaker off , remove old outlet and install new one. Make sure line is on correct terminal . if there is a short to ground any where in the boat the breaker circuit protector will kick on new outlet ,if this happens turn breakers off one at a time to find circuit that is shorted to ground .

same as you would in your house but us the really pricey marine grade outlet
